Not sure of the power yet...have to get it dynoed. Im going to guess 240 maybe...or not. I have 3.73 gears. I was running last year with the 255/40/17(just a hair over 25")a trap speed of 105 @ 13.7...so i know I will slow down MPH wise, but I hope I will have better gears now. I was running out. I do plan on running these tires on my fulltime drag car when it is done, so I was also thinking ahead when buying the taller tire. I was also told that the gear I lose with the height, i will gain in traction.

You may have a bad bogging problem w/ low power and a tall tire. I woulda went w/ 26's. JMO though.

I was looking at getting a pair of these. I have 15" weld drag lites with 245/60 r15's on there right now. I am in desperate need of new tires. Should I go with the same size as you? I know for a fact I have 240 hp. I also plan on getting rid of my 3.55 for either a 3.73 or 4.10 soon

I have no bogging now, it is perfect when I let it go around 3500 RPM's...feels great. Maybe I just wont heat them...we will see

LOL no just trying to give some insight. You're not bogging now b/c you are on street tires correct? Those M/T's are gonna be a big surprise!!!

No, I was talking about running the M/T's. On street tires, I would totally blow them off dropping it at 2200RPM. I am very impressed with the M/T's and I don't think I will have any issues that I can't work out. Maybe I have a little more power than I think...don't know.
