You don't buy injectors to gain HP. You buy injectors because the ones you have cannot safely and reliably provide the correct amount of fuel required for your specific engine. When your injector duty cycle gets about 85%, things become a bit unstable, in the sense that they're not as reliable as they could be. Eventually you get to a point where the injectors just syap open and constantly spray just to try to keep up with teh demand. That's when you need to get bigger injectors (and usualyl a fuel pump and MAF, but not always) to get things back into an acceptable range.

As a side note, if you get injectors that are entirely too big for your engine's setup, you can also run into problems.

Which ones you buy depends on what you plan on doing with the engine. Right now, you can probably get away with 24# injectors but that won't be the case if you add much more power. 30# or even 42# may be better if you plan to add some serious power adders in the near future.

But that is all speculation. The best way is to determine what your current numbers are (DC, PW, HP, etc) and then use a formula to determine what size injectors you need.

I understand what your saying about the safety issue, but I just got this thing put together and ran a best of 8.83 with a 2.0 60foot, I have some issues, so I think fuel is my primary problem.

Take H/P you want to support and divide by 16. Example 300/16=18.75 (19#). FYI you could easily get away with 24# they will support just shy of 400hp.

But that still goes along with what I'm saying. Injectors don't increase HP per se... In other words, putting 42# injectors on a car wo't give you X amount of a HP increase over 30# injectors unless you have already maxed out the 30# injectors. It's not like other bolt-ons that increase HP by adding them.

Fuel could very well be your problem. But again, the only way to tell is to get some numbers or run some tests. Find out what your A/F ratio is throughout the run.You should also be able to see what our current injector PW and DC is. If the PW and DC is low and if the A/F ratio is where it should be, then you know to look elsewhere. If those numbers are off, then step up and get larger injectors.

But back to what I said originally, even if you do need alrger injectors... getting ones larger than you need isn't going to increase your HP. And noone can say how much of an increase you will see if you are indeed running too small right now and step into correct;y sied injectors.

So dont you think that if I am making more power than my injectors can support that I am losing power?

If you cannot supply enough fuel to support combustion then yes you will lose power, and eventually your valve-train or piston. Bottom line is yoou basically have to size for your application. You could go with 30#, but there is little sense unless you plan more adders.
