Which is faster a stock 5 spd 95 mustang (5.0)or a stock 5spd 96 mustang(4.6)?

They're about the same, 96 only has like 30hp more

no competition, the 5.0 is a good half second faster. the stock non pi 4.6 is a 15.1 car, while i have seen stock 5.0 sn95's go 14.6.

reason I ask is because there is a guy i know with a 97 and he wants to race, I am not sure of his mods, maybe some exhaust and pulleys, but i know his heavy 18inchchrome (look like something from a rappers cadillac)arent helping him any

5.0 ftw over a stock 4.6 non pi, a 96 with the same mods as you will not be as fast b/c they are less responsive to mods
