Default The downsides of burnouts?

Ok so burnouts are bada$$, we all know that and we're all tempted to do them whenever we get the oppurtunity, but are they bad for your car in anyway? Is too many burnouts too much of a good thing? can you damage your driveline doing them? thanks

you can mess up the tranny, axles, differential, and of course ur brakes and tires, also puts a strain on the engine if done to long.

Don't do them unless you're in a pit to race.

I don't like beating on my car like that.

I wouldnt let the revs go red for very long or very often. Its called redline for a reason. if you do a burnout as soon as you start the car while its cold you could blow a head gasket. Torque boxes can be weakened after a while. Im sure the ujoints take a good shot to. Obviously youll be lots of tires if you get too crazy. They can also blow if you spin em too long.

Once they start smokin id start letting off.

its stupid.... I will admit that I have done my fair share of burnouts... but its really immature, and most people who try to do them... will end up causing damage to their car because they dont know wtf they are doing.
