I just tried to take of the second tie rod, and this one wont budge no matter what I do. Do you reccomend I heat it up? I gave it all I had and that jam nut will not MOVE!!!
heating it up will help to get it off... keep in mind tho it u heat sumthing up u will ruin ne rubber in contact with it... so take a good look around and make sure there is not rubber newere near close...

Why do you need to take the tie rods off for a 5 lug conversion?

For the love of God. LOL. This is not rocket science. Do exactly as follows:

(1) Wire brush point C to remove all the rust.

(2) Spray Liquid Wrench on points A and C... let it soak in for a while.

(3) Put an open end wrench on nut B and at point D.

(4) Turn nut B while holding the rod still at point D.

(5) If nut will not come off, use torch to heat up the nut ONLY and then try again.

(6) After nut is loose, keep your wrench on point D and spin the tie rod end off while holding the steering rod still. Use vise grips if needed.

If this does not work... sell your tools and never work on your own car again.

you actually went out to your car and took a picture, even though he said he already got one off.

btw, not all outer tie rods are open like that, you can't always lube them at point A
