okay before i start is there any warnings or anything i need to do? is it hard?

the best trick I have used is to have a friend help... get your hands on a rather large socket. remove the dust cover from the tranny, where the cable attaches to the fork. have your friend step on the clutch pedal and stick the socket between the fork and the bellhousing... this will jam it forward, and when your friend takes his foot off the pedal, it will become loose... then allowing you to remove the cable without any hassles.... like smacking yourself in the head with a prybar... which I have done MANY times!
