Default belt

i was wonderin if you could get a belt that by passed the a/c and power steering...and if it would screw anything up....and how you would measure to what length of belt you need.....i dont wanna get the eliminators because i still want the normal belt and stuff when my girl friend goes out of town with it....so she has a/c and stuff....what you think?

if you bypass the power steering, and then drive it like that, your going to destroy the steering rack and pump.

not sure on an sn95 if u can or not... but to find out, use a piece of string, route it like the belt will go, and then measure it...

my suggestion to you, buy a belt made for your car without a/c. don't even worry about the P/S.

even eliminating the a/c isn't really worth it, to me anyway. the drag that your reducing is so minimal you won't even notice it.

I bypassed my AC and smog with a 81.5" belt. I'd leave the power steering tho, its pretty necessary at times, especiall if its supposd to be there.

right.

power steering isn't an interchangeable option, really. you either have it or you don't. if you run the car with power steering components, but no fluid passing through, your gonna destroy everything. then again, if you switch over to a manual steering rack, you can't just pop a belt on and have power steering.

well i got the asp smog delete but will i get more power if i just by pass the a/c and that pully with a smaller belt
