like i said in my title... my friend has a nitrous kit that he is going to let me borrow.... is there anything i should know before i start messing with it?
the highest shot im proly getting it 75 thats the biggest jet my freind has... internals are stock, stock heads, so compression is what ever stock is... and i also got stock fuel pump but i do got a fuel pressure regulater
also keep in mind that a 75 shot on a 4 cylinder is much smaller on a v8... If you took a 75 from a honda, and ran it in your stang.. it might only make 35-40hp
Ive ran nitrous many times here is I learned. Do not run it with a stock feul pump, I made that mistake once. Back your timing off, I ran it at 12*. If it starts pinging STOP spraying, back off the timing off little more. run a little colder plug, I ran NGK UR5 gapped at .040. Make sure it is purged before you take off it will cut out bad then hit hard, by then your 1/4mi e/t is screwed.
