Hey whats up? i am looking to drop a 5.0 into my 1999 v6...i was wondering if any1 knows or has any experiance doing this or if i am going to have to change thing around or if itll drop right in place?

u cant with the whole V6 k-member you need a 4 cyl or a 5Lk-member ...IIRC

It would be better for you to trade/sellyour car for a GT. You would save your self alot of time and hassel than going the route you are thinking of taking.

it's not even worth the time, money and effort when you could sell the car you got right now and buy a GT for a reasonable price and mod it and call it good!!!

ull have to get a differnet k member for sure... and differen front suspension cuz of the added weight... ne accesorys too... then a new clutch and bell housing but ithink they have t-5 so tranny should be ok... just weak... need new headers and proably an new mid pipe... i think its a lot more work that u realize.... its not really worth it... unless the 5.0 is pretty worked... h/c/i and wat not.... so unless u got a 5.0 motor puttin out 400+hp i wouldnt waste the time

im gonna agree with the rest of the people that have posted, it really isnt worth your time. sell the car or junk the car and then get a 5.0 <3.
