Is that carbon on by the throttle body? I think that car has been beat on bad. No way it's worth $4000.

it's obvious you have lil or no clue....adding better parts doesn't warrant it's been run hard....it being a 5.0 does..almost everyone of these car have been played with that's what their about...just because it's been painted isn't a red flag as 85% have been. all he need is a small magnet to check the areas. you can look at the 1/4 window trim and tell alot about the car....stang have risen in price to where 4k for a nice stang is what alot of people are getting...and I bet this guy might get it if he holds out for awhile...here 3500 buys a beat-on stang[&:]
ORIGINAL: cbennett

obviously the car has been rodded on.. with the air filter, tach, msd box, wires, and stupid wheel cover, and "custom rims"
im sure someone has rodded on this thing a LOT

also.. look for bondo.. obviously its been repainted.. makes me wonder if it has been wrecked..
check the rear quarters especially..
definitely not worth 4000..

it seems leary to me.. crawl inside and out of that car.. see what all has been butchered, and rigged...
its easy to hide things..

given these pictures.. if i were interested in buying this car.. personally, i wouldnt give over $2500

your gonna need paint, wheels, and thats just exterior.. and judging from the "mods" this engine definitely hasnt been babied...

... i know how easy it is to get a hard on for something...
but there are better deals out there
dont be like me and jump on the first fox that shows up, and be way over your head in repairs, and spent way too much on the initial price of the car

.. ok im done LOL sorry for the long rant

I think you should walk away from that car. It's not very nice (inside and out) and you could do better with the budget you have.

With the parts that are on it, you can tell..someone drove it, like they thought it was a race car.

I bought mine for 3500 before I knew alot, I would listen to what everyone is saying. So far I have had to put in a new clutch cable and will need new transmission fluid and on top of that I have had to replace the alternator (but we found the receipt in the car for the current one put on so we got a new one for free! - )
