I was going to say I have never seen anything over 320hp to the wheels with my combo....I may make a bit less hp, but I have never seen a combo make that much tq. Even the tuner was surprsied. Anywho im out to smoke one and pass out.

They put the AFRs on a clean block with some kick *** 1.7RRs, great headers, and a realyl nice carb. Stock camshaft though. True they did reach 400HP, but it was 400 BHP. I'm assuming his 305HP is 305 rwhp which wouldn't be too far from right if he didn't get a good tune. Not sure I would have went with AFR heads when the rest of the kit if TF. I'm sure there may be a few issued with power bands there.

Actually the cam and rockers are the only TF peieces...and no issues with powerband whatsoever. Just nice smooth power. If you got AFR165s, the rockers, intake, all arp bolts, mallory ignition and everything else you need for a hci swap for 1800 I think you would do it to! It makes as much or more hp then most TF top end kits do and a helluva lot more tq. Most poeple with that kit I have seen make 280-310hp and 305-315tq, to the wheels of course. I think my vtec kicked in and thats what boosted the tq

 

uh. to get semi back on topic, im in MD, ive been runnin no cats since ive owned the car. and ive been pulled over countless time, in md and de... and they never even think about the exhaust. wheni get pulled over i just turn off the car...

but last night i got pulled over, and left it on by accident... only exhaust thing he had to say was, damn i can feel it! lol and said it sounded good.

Out here cops dont care, hell I bought my car from a cop and it came with a mac off road h. When registration comes along I pay smog dude $50 to smog my explorer and the stang never leaves the garage [&:]

Edit: NHP has the mirrors on a stick and have heard they check if your car is excessively loud, but Metro and henderson police dont care,,they just say it sounds nice!
