Default What i need for a head swap...

I've trying to get everything ahead of time for when i throw the GT's on. Heres what i know i need, please let me know if im leaving things out, which im sure i am,
All gaskets...head/intake/headers?/ waterpump?
Engine assembly lube
tap(for the the headbolt holes-it a 1/2 in right?and what thread size?)
Head bolts(arp)
RTV silicone
torque wrench
coolant
oil&filter

get a complete engine gasket kit

im doing this soon too... prob gunna snag up some AFR 165's instead of the whole trickflow topend kit.

what heads are u goin with?

I got a new waterpump too...

I also went with a new thermostat and thermostat housing...the old one was BAD!!!

How about rockers, pushrods and lifters...are you replacing those too?

i have a bookmark on my personal computer. when i get home ill post it. it helped me though a hci swap for the first time. it was a good article.

lifters??
make sure that the gaskets fit properly, mine i ordered from summit didnot. i have gt40 set up tho.

thermostat gasket
Gasket for the throttle body

You dont need thermostat orthrottle bodygasket for a head swap. You dont need water pump gaskets either.[
