they had one there and put it in... they specialize in mustangs and knew what i wanted knew i spent a bunch of money and that i did all of this to have a fast but reliable car...

i'd check it again, and go from there. if everything motor-wise is new, look to the used parts, especially a thin sheet metal tank that's been sittin around. condensation will sit in there and destroy things from the inside out. the force of the gas smacking it from you nailing the throttle is enough to break it right off.

take the car out when it's cold, dont even let it warm up too long, and go tear *** around a corner, right turn. if it sputters like it usually does, its the tank.

why after i have been driving it for a while though.. if i were to take it out right now it would probably run fine for a few minutes then do it again

anyone have any ideas? it feels like a fuel or air problem.. you can feel it choking itself.. it doesnt buck at all just loses power gradually

manchester connecticut.. j & m motorsports... i live in ellingon.. but i used to live in enfield ct.. i dont stay on the throttle long enough to find out but it definately oes not feel like it is gonna come back..

try it. the next time it does it, stay in the throttle. if the tank is the problem, the car will revive itself once the pump starts receiving fuel again. should only take 1 or 2 seconds. also try the corner thing. the fuel pump is on the right side of the tank. if the baffle is bad, when you take a righthand turn fast enough, the fuel will slosh to the left side of the tank, and it should recreate the problem.
