EVP?
EGR valve position sensor

also, the o2 socket isn't necessary, but it helps with other cars. a 22mm wrench is all you need.
which part is that? i probably adjusted it when i was putting everything back together if that makes a difference

there is no adjustment for an egr position sensor.
if it was the cause of your light, it would have a code.

i dont think you have even listed your codes yet. what are they?

also, the o2 socket isn't necessary, but it helps with other cars. a 22mm wrench is all you need. unplug the sensor before you start taking it out, so you don't twist the wiring.
also, during the re-install, dont plug them in until they're tight, for the same reason.
I had that problem for a while before the hci swap, the light flashes on and off right about 2000rpm randonmly. Havent had that problem anymore since I took all that crap out

yup, when the EGR position sensor is throwing codes, it lights up the check engine light when you are accelerating lightly, and it will turn off immediately after getting off the throttle.

now that sounds more like an o2. probably time to replace them anyway, they're only supposed to be good for about 60k
