Turbocharger vs Supercharger

RE: Turbocharger vs Supercharger
When i think of a mean muscle car i think of HP, speed, loud. Not nitrous. When i think of rice burners i think of a piece of S***, nos, fart pipe. This is probably b/c of the house i grew up in and the movies i watch. And the lack of knowledge i have about cars which i am trying to enhance.

Oh damn! What the hell have you been putting together down in RI? I never figured you for a Zex guy though. I like Zex, but I had you pegged for an NX guy.

RE: Turbocharger vs Supercharger
from a dig supercharger would give more acceleration on the spot but when the turbo starts winding up it will start creeping up on the supercharger, its a give and take

Well since the mustang is rear wheel drive and it would be of my interest to have a little lag to avoid more tire spin and having the turbo power that creeps up on the supercharger would be of my best interest?

RE: Turbocharger vs Supercharger
Nitrous will get you the best acceleration as long as you get traction. It's active 100% as soon as you hit WOT and have it on. And if you're concerned about launches, get a 2 stage setup. And as far as loud horsepower and fast, have you ever seen a nitrous Pro Mod car? Or any REAL car on nitrous? Most rice doesn't have nitrous, they slap a sticker on and maybe get a fake purge kit, and the ones that do have nitrous are adding 100hp to 120hp. 220 WHOLE hp.....woooooooo. You build a simple little 360hp 302 and slap a 125 shot on it it'll scare you on the street

its a big problem when you get under 134 cubic inches... which most import motors are 134 (2.2l) or less
