ok so my car was super quite and the idle was irratic so I cleand the iac,maf and the throttlebody assembley and reinstalled them but the idle was still all over the place so I took a shot in the dark and disconected the mufflers at the cats and fired it up much to my supprize the car started alot faster and idled so smooth so I took it off the ramps and took it for a test drive holy s*** I was sideways six ways from sunday so it looks like im gonna up grade my complete exaust.

hpipe or xpipe doesnt really matter, longtube or shorty headers doesnt really matter, and flowmaster 40s, or slp mufflers doesnt really matter.

I have Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers, and found they made more power than the 40's I had before, mellower sound though at idle, but still scream when you open it up

92cobra... ur bein a dumbass...

long tubes give a little more then shorties, but are a PITA to install, and its, to some ppl not quite worth the hassel for the little differance. x is better then h in terms of hp, but only like 1 or 2 hp, so pick that based on sound. and a straight thru muffler as opposed to a chambered one, will give you a little more flow...

u want best bang for the buck / least fitment issues go with bbk shorty headers

h pipe will be louder
x pipe will be more raspy but flow more.. no more signifcantly to notice compared to an h-pipe

go catless if u can

If you run mufflers go to a specialty shop and see what they could make bare minimum for you (even if it's illegal) the last thing you want is a cop pullin' yah over and being a dick...
