Using Harmonic Balancer Puller
Hi all,
I borrowed a puller from a friend to remove my balancer and I havent a clue how it works. I was only able to install 2 bolts and the one long one in the middle. I didnt know if I was suppose to turn the big bolt clockwise to pull it off or what? Could someone help me here?
Thanks!
Mike

yea there rite your rite... two bolts across from each other... long pusher in the middle... normally a lil pointer on the end.... take both the bolt and the washer out... then just turn the large middle bolt clockwise and the hamonic balancer pulley will slowly side off... if u dont have the belt on then ull need to take a cressent wrench and grab ahold on a numb on the pulley so it doesnt spin with u twist or us an impact wrench
Thanks everyone!
I am using the puller that looks kind of like an angel. I removed the bolt and washer and installed the long bolt through the puller back thru where the orginal bolt was and installed and snugged 2 bolts on the sides. I turnedthe long boltclockwise maybe 4 times, but then I got nervous and wasnt sure if I was doing it right because nothing was happening so I left it alone. I will try again tomorrow now.
Thanks again!
