My cousin has one. hes putting down like 260 torque to the wheels. he got it dynoed while he was at uti. I raced him thursday nite. we raced from a dig. I got him in 1 and 2 then in 3 he would just pass me like nothing. Its kinda sad. I need gears bad.

If you know how to tune your car, a easy H/C/I swap and you'll stomp srt's... Only been beat by one in my old red car in my sig.. My new car is going to be much much better.... More info to come min the next couple weeks.

i had a srt 4. they are quick but the thing they will NEVER have is the large number on the odometer as the mustangs do. i had mine for 6 months and i would have spent (warrany) 2500 bucks on that stupid thing. i was commuting 50 one way to san diego and NOT racing it. it was a fun car to drive but they are PIESES OF SHIZ! if you run those cars any more than the stock boost, expect to see that rod being shot out of the bottom of that block

i speak through personal experience on this car. they are no fun to own after 25,000 miles. you can just tell that they took a neon and adden ground effects and a turbo.

How fast depends on the flavor. Dodge actually offers 4 different versions as a factory option, from stage 1 to stage 4, ranging from 250hp all the way to like 410hp. Though most seem to only be stage 1 or 2

Funny story actually about those neons... I was on the highway and one came up to me trying to race, so i punched it up to 150 and i was tac'd out, anway i burned that neon and then i slowed down and she passed me at about 120 and she got pulled over by the CHP a couple miles down the road, lol... anyway she lost and got a phat speeding ticket, what a s h i t t y day......

also.... no matter what you do to a neon to make it look/drive/feel better... guess what?! its still going to be a damn economy car even if it does come from the factory with a turbo. and the same goes for all the other eco cars out there. i COULD have left my stang stock and itwould have been good enough right from the factory, but i wanted more just like everyone else on this forum.

a srt or srt-4

srt is non turbo, its a neon with factory ricer crap

srt-4 has the ricer crap but make good power with the turbo.

I've got a buddy that runs prolly 13.3 to 13.5's with et streets on his car, and he ran a guy locally that has an srt-4 and he beat him by maybe two or three links...So they're pretty damn quick for a stock car... All that he could beat him by was the amount that he got him out of the hole by... I hate a damn ricer car, but i give that little bastard credit, they've got some *****...
