Default Drag springs

I am possibly looking into drag springs for my 1983 hatchback. I need the rear to be at least an inch higher than stock, because of the larger tires I have on it. They rub when I hit a bump.

I woudnt mind if it dropped it in the front either, just for a little more rake, but even stock height would be ok.

Who makes a decent set that wont break the bank, but also will give me a little bit of boost in the rear.

Moroso's are what your looking for. You have to cut the front springs to drop the car. Your rear will sit 1-2in higher then stock uncut and drop about 1 inch in the front with 1 1/2 coils cut.

The Eibach Drag Launch work GREAT. I've got those in the front and lowering spring in the rear along with a bunch of other suspension mods and it makes for some nasty weight transfer.

Can you get drag springs that lower your car or keep them the same height?

My car has drag springs on the front, take a look at the pictures. It sits lower than stock

I had to cut 1 coil off the front to make it sit like that, but those springs are made to be cut, it doesn't affect ride quality. I opted for a trip to the beach and a laptop for mygraduation present, my parents said that they weren't going to buy me anything for my car.

Moroso springs are what you need to get.
Cut them with an abrasive wheel in a grinder and you'll be ok.
The rears come labeled for left or right.............

If I was you I'dask for a stage 1 cam, it is fairly cheap and will be a big improvement over the stock one you still have in there
