Out driving the machine around town,, out of sudden car would not shift past first, then it, reved all the way to redline no go.

Reverse is fine.
Put it back in drive and BAM!!! It was like I hit a brick wall, then the motor died.

I drove home in reverse with hazards on should of seen the looks on folks

Im wondering wtf happened, and removal starts today. Shop told me no warranty ,its been past a year since I had it (on high performance AOD'S[:'(], ) $1400 gone

that sucks *****....
my old 87hatch blew the aod on the highway, 3rd and 4th died. i drove home 65 miles in 2nd gear. that was a noisy ride.

Junkyard and rebuild it yourself. I just helped a guy I work with put his together, no much to them. A lot easier to put them together then compared to an aod.

plus they can handle a load of torque
