Default 9" rim - 235 tires

I finnaly got my chrome 03 cobra wheels and I got a GREAT deal on them. But the problem is that the widest tire they had in the package was 235. A- they look retarded, B- the car handles like $hit, weaving side to side. So what I'm getting at is what would be the best tire that will fit with little or no adjustment? They are real nice Falken tires but I don't want them. When I get my old wheels and tires sold I would like to sell these and get some nice tires.

EDIT- oh yeah one more thing, are these safe to be driving on? they are pretty stretched.

Hmmm, whoever put that tire package together was a retard. A 245/45 would be a much better fit on the 9inch rims. Or maybe a 255/40, but that may be cutting it to close for the front.
