Default Buning Oil

Ok, i finally think i found my prob. My car is burn oil. Just daily driving you dont see or smell anything. but when me and a buddy were racing the other day i had it up to 85 and I looked behind me and it was a big cloud of smoke. what causes this? I just took out my spark plugs the other day and they did look like the car had been burning oil. my step dad said it could be my valve seals, butI was told it wasent. Im going to do a compression test wendsday. What are some other things I should look at? I hope its not the rings cuz I dont have the money for a new engine. And I dont have a second vehicle to drive while i rebuild.

could be worn piston rings depending on how many miles you have on the engine

Compression test would have shown bad rings.

PCV is the most common culprit.
My access to this site is limited, so check my website for a writeup on the pcv system, and what to look for.

good luck,
