Hey guys, I have a 84 351W that I'm currently building right now. I plan on reusing the stock crank and rods, as I've heard that they were forged from the factory. Is this information factual?
I know the pistons were garbage, thats why I'm installing aftermarkets.

 

I believe they were cast, but even so, still rugged. I've heard the factory cast cranks are good for 600hp+ and the flywheel(whether it's true, I dunno). Dunno about the rods, I don't trust Ford factory rods, but that's cuz I have a 302 [8D]
