Strange wheel noise
Ok, so when Im driving around slowly, I hear a clicking coming from the front drivers side wheel. It reminds me of when kids put playing cards in the spokes of their bicycle. It gets louder when I take a right turn, and has a slow creeking sound when I go about 3-5mph. My mechaninc thought it was a wheel bearing, but after having that replaced it sill makes the noise. Now he thinks it has something to do with the wheel itself. I have weld racing wheels with spacers, do you guys have any ideas?? Thanks

RE: Strange wheel noise
it would be so much easier if this was a fwd cause then it would be the cv joint but thats not the case. hmm jack the front of the car up and wiggle the wheel. hold it from the top and bottom and try to rock it back and forth then hold it on either side and do it again see if you have play in it
