I've had my rear quarter interior panels out for some time this winter and my 87-93 rear quarter glass is here so I decided to take one of the windows out. Loosened all those supporting brackets. Then I seen the window comes out through the inside and just held in by the sealer and the brackets unlike 87-93. We were pulling windows out of a 94 Mark VIII at school today so I was feeling pretty good about taking mine out, since it was similiar. So I was gently prying around the window to release the sealer then I must of done it JUST too hard. BOOM. Spidered the window. Not too bad since I'm replacing them anyway, but could have made some coin on eBay . I quickly duct taped the window so I could take it out without glass peces being everywhere but my finger went through and only got 3/4 of the window taped. Well, I got it out but the sealer was still there and I just pulled that out. Needless to say there's more glass than I wanted in my car. I think I'm either going to wait until it warms up to do the other side or take a hair dryer and fishing line to seperate the sealer...oh well...you learn...

 

that sux dude, at least you were planning to replace them.

just run a razor blade around the inside, it worked great for me
