My best piece of advise would be to not listen to these guys. They are tossing around so much mis-information that its not even funny.

GT-40 heads from a 96-97.5 Explorer can be used with ANY mustang headers...
GT-40P heads from a 97.5-up Explorers MUST USE SPECIAL HEADERS. If your not getting P heads, dont worry about it.

GT-40 Explorer heads have a larger combustion chamber than stock E7 heads. This is bad! It means you will have lower compression. If you run GT-40's, PLEASE take them to a machine shop and tell them that you want the heads milled down so that you have 63cc combustion chambers. the machine shop will know what that means, and how to do it!

The Ford Racing B Cam... SUCKS! nuff said.
Run either a TFS stage 1 cam, or maybe even a Steeda #19. Should you decide to run the Steeda #19, get a set of 1.7 roller rockers instead of 1.6's. this will bring your lift to .510 intake and .510 exhaust

You shouldnt run a TB larger than 65mm, so keep it that way.

Instead of spending assloads of money on a NEW maf. get one from a 1994-1995 mustang, It does not matter is the SN-95 is a V6 or 5.0, its the same sensor.

Your 19# injectors may be too small for this combo. Get your car dyno tuned and have them install 24# injectors when they tune it, and have them reprogram your ECM for the 24# injectors.

I said you can get a 94-95 maf of both a v6 and v8...

the TB is fox specific, so you will have to get one either new our used.. but aftermarket regardless

I agree with most of this, but I do want to point out one thing. Personally, I don't think that the larger cumbustion / lower compression is necessarily a bad thing. If you are looking to run a lot of boost or a decent shot of nitrous in the future, it may be beneficial to have lower compression. But that's the only situation where I would want it to be that way.

Absolutely right.

I didn't see where anyone really through around a lot of misinformation, so I don't know what you were referring to. Looked like a lot of helpful information to me. Just my .02
