RT is Real Time Datalogging- Allows you to see what your car is doing while running.
The base model is a waste IMO.

Also, with the RT model, you can switch between tunes with the engine running. I don't think you can do that with the base model. But the datalogging ability is huge. After changing something, you'll want to be able to see how it worked and what your new numbers are, etc. And if you can't figure something out and need help, you'll need to have a datalog to send someone.

Or they'll take shortcuts and mess with the engine displacement rather than take the time to do it right.

I know you do it the right way. I mean some "local shops" that you take your car to. They'll toss it on a dyno and burn you a chip taking shortcuts just to get you in and out so that they can move on to teh next person. And that's if you're lucky. Many will simply screw with fuel pressure and timing and call it a day.

In other words, most of the timeyou will be better off sending a datalog to Pro Mustang Performance and getting it done right. That wayyou know it's done right, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than bringing it to some local shop who will probably take shortcuts to begin with.
