k i could jump my mustang and it will startup fine and then it will contiune to start up for me for about another few mins then when i go and try to start it notthing would could this be im guessing a dead battery ? if so i got a charger is it worth charging

get the battery load tested, you might as well buy a new battery if it is bad, instead of a charger.

sounds like baterry, also check for 14.5V while running

If your car battery isn't charging it could also be a problem with your alternator...

yeah i cant see it being the alternater i dunno because wouldent that changed the way it runs anyways i mean when i jump it all the lights turn on fine and everything else help me guys and if it was the alternater how hard is it to replace. so most of you guys are thinking battery?

I've done an alternator in a parkinglot of a Part Source, you can usually tell because if it's the alternator when your car is on and you step on the gas your lights will get brighter.. Try to swap batteries with another car, see if it works. Don't forget you have to let the car run long enough for the alternator to charge the battery so don't just turn the car on and off.. 'tis not good for it.

yeah i think im going to try replacing the battery first i mean many foxes around here have that problem with the lights mine dose not do it and my dads dose and he just got a brand new alternator on his fox.
