Tire spin from a roll?
I have an 89 gt 5 speedthats stock except for a msd distributor and flowmaster catback.when i'm going like 15 mph in first, i can floor it and spin the tires all the way to second gear. I was just wondering if I am the only one with a stock car that can do this? I just ordered 3.73's, but now I'm wondering if there are already some aftermarket gears in my car...

I'm pretty sure they're close to new. They're yokohamas and have like a quarter of an inch of tread on them.
I've actually chirped them going into third a couple of times too.

It's not always a good thing when the tires spin like that, I recently replaced my cheap azz balding Sumitaro's with Pirelli zero nero's & she doesnt get sideways anymore banging into second..what a difference. I'd be willing to bet those Yoko's arent really a quality tire compared to whats available these days.
