I actually run their tb and have had zero problems with it. I plan on getting the BBK intake and having it sand blasted perfectly smooth and then chrome powdercoated.

I had a pro-products intake and tb i thought they were graet, like said above you need to debur them but there ready to run after that. Gasket matching is a good idea but not a must.

I sold my intake and heat spacer and TB for 200.00, so if you get one youll need to keep it or take a big loss, onnthe resale.

so your saying that a 500 dollar holley systemax intake flows the same as a 250 dollar pro-products? i disagree. you indeed get what you pay for. you cant beat the proven performance of name brands like edelbrock and holley. just my opinion.
I didn't say it flows the same, don't put words in my mouth, you said that, and then disagreed with it.
I have the Typhoon and I paid 300.00 for it and in tests that were done on it against all the other High dollar intakes it ranked right up there with all of them.

I do agree when it comes to the TB becasue it was crap, so that's why I went with the Edelbrock unit.

I think it was FF&MM that did the tests and for the money I think it can't really be beat.

You go ahead and spend that extra 250-300 bucks on it, I'll spend my left over money on something cool like a set of gears, that's what i did too.

I didn't do that, but i plan to pull it back off this summer and do the port matching and then reinstall it back on there.

I wish i knew about that last summer.[:'(]

all i can say is, you get what you pay for.
All I can say is my car runs great and the intake looks great. Just becasue you pay a massive amount of money for something doesn't Necessarily make it better, just more expensive.

were you not implying that both intakes flow the same although one costs more than the other? if not, what did you mean then?

in the case of the above, the PP flows better than stock but poorly compared to the track heat.

so in the end you get what you pay for.

NO, i was not implying or refering that both intakes flow the same, YOU for some reason in your mind, SAY that's what i was implying.

I never mentioned the Trackheat on any of my post's now did I?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, just becasue it flows better, does NOT automatically make it better, OR make it produce more HP.

in the case of the above, the PP flows better than stock but poorly compared to the track heat.
woopee fu(kin dooo, you spend more money on it too. Like I said before, with the money I saved, I was able to buy gears for my car.

If you'll take a look at this you'll see there's really not that big a difference, certainly not another 200 to 300 bucks IMO.

The biggest difference was 8 whopping HP, woo wooo.

so in the end you get what you pay for.
Hey If you've got money to **** away, please feel free.

I saved some money, got my gears and I'm only 8 HP to the lesser, I think i can handle that for the amount of money I saved myself.
