Default newbie here, need help.

new to the forum, glad to be here. heres the problem. i am doing a conversion ( INJECTION TO CARB) the thing is i cannot get the tach to work. any ideas. the car is an 88. i just cannot figure out what wires work. thanks in advance.

are you using an aftermarket tach? if so, then hook the tach sensor wire up to the coil terminal nearest the fenderwell and see if this makes it work OK. also make sure the tach has a good ground connection.

not sure the factory tach will work without the ECU for the fuel injection and you can't be using that with a carb anyway. you can get an aftermarket tach for less than $100.

this is a customers car at work, i work at a performance shop, he would like to keep the factory tach, i just cannot figure it out.
