And just to show you that I wasn't kidding or just guessing at how to remove it...
I just pulled the extractor back off my shelf in the basement and took a pic of it for you. I'm sure I can remove it somehow, but that bastard is on there so tight that I don't know how I'm gonna do it. Probably just going to toss it in the garbage.

sam... take the piece to a shop and have them cut the plug in half with a cutoff wheel... then you can get your piece back...
you could ship it down tome and i'd do it for you... free... pay shipping both ways... probably cost less than a buck in a USPS padded envelope

Thanks guys for all the input. I got the PB blaster, I have let her soak all night, hopefully today will be better! I would pull the head, but being only a
" Recreational " mechanic, (don't know ****") I have never ventured off that deep in the engine. How much approx. would I be looking at to get the head pulled off at the stealership? I do have a heavy duty magnet , and a industrial mother of all shop vacs to pull debris out. Well, this is my first SN95, and all though the fox's are so comparable under the hood, this one sure takes alot longer to get into once you start pulling out the strut tower brace, mass air flow etc....It just seamed easier on the old school 5.0 fox...
