Haha, thanks man. thats what I get for $300. Its not a 5.0 though, just a 4 banger.
yah it could possibly be the alt. And I do think your battery is toast. was it a BRAND new battery?

its gotta be your battery seeing your alt was working fine before you disconnected the battery. but it is possible the alt might of took a dump. do what samseed said and go to autozone and let them check it out

Hellion, you gonna put a 5.0 in it? One bright spot in this mess, is that my car broke down across the street from an autozone, lol.

Sweet man, you'll get it running for sure!! No Im not getting a 5.0.... try a 5.8L [sm=badbadbad.gif]But for right now, a 4 banger keeps tread on my tire and keeps me out of trouble, lol.
btw, I did some painting on my car. I sanded and fully restored my side loovers, and painted my wing and some more stuff. If you wanna see what it looks like now, I will put some pics up. My signiture pic is out dated.

That would be hella funny!!! not much to drop one especially if you are goin for a carbed motor. It will fit on the original motor mounts, and I think you might have to get a bigger tranny for that extra power. Plus your frame might warp from the torque so maybe some frame rails. Did you read the post above that I edited when you were replying?

Yeah, id love to see pics of it. My tranny is bad anyways, probably gonna end up w/ a tremec somethin or other lol. Wonder how much i'm lookin at to build a 351? I thought about leaving my motor stock and building a 351 on the side.

If you are new into building engine get a 351 windsor. the 351 cleveland's are alot more complicating and ALOT more expensive. Is your car still sittin where it broke down??
