Default Rear diferential

This isnt about what gear I should get. I plan on getting 3.73 but is there a difference between the ford limited slip and the ford traction-lok? I want to rebuild my limited slip. Thats whats in there. Can I use this kit to rebuild it? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1∂=FMS%2DM%2D4700%2DB& amp;N=700+4294925134+4294839047+4294848426+4294901 314+115&autoview=sku .

Well they are all called gear carriers because they are what the ring gear is bolted to. Limited slip type let the rear wheels turn at different speeds around turns. A spool looks like a bicycle hub (spool) and the axles are always locked into it and always turn at the same speed. You will need to research this topic and find whats right for you. Spools are ok for street use (kinda). You will need new axles and c-clip eliminator safety hubs, but for strait line traction, there is no better way to go.
