well i went to start my car this morning to go to work. i turn the key and hear the fuel pump and it sounds oh so week i turn the key and nothing not even a click. i pop the hood and take the covers off the battery and guess what no acid at all. i look around the battery and my frame rail is covered and the grass under the car is dead. now i cant get to work and my cell has no service at my house to call work and tell them what happend, and no we dont have a house phone my dad is cheap. so what is a good battery to get? mine is just a $50 advance autoparts battery not even 3 months old

start out with taking the battery out and finding out where the acid came from.
WEAR HEAVY DUTY GLOVES AND DON'T BREATHE IN TOO HARD.

then return the battery. 3 months old should be free replacement.

+1 on returning the battery. Mot of the ones I see around here offer a 3 - 5 year warranty (usually pro rated after a certain period of time.)

oh its got a 3 year warrenty on it the battery is already out i still cant seem to find where its coming from the bottom of it is just wet as a mother. only problem is i cant get to the store to get a new one. i texted my dad from my aim and he texted me back and said oh well that sucks for you

hell, we heard rumor that motorcraft batteries have a liftime warranty, so we took some we had at our junk pile, and oreilly's exchanged them for us

haha luck *******. what really sucks is normally i can jump my car down the driveway but i parked on the grass last night because my dad decided to park his big *** navigator in the way of the parking area by the house. so im stuck between two big *** trees(basically paralle parked) and cant go anywhere

optima red top would be my pick if you can spend a bit more. ive drained it twice in 10 months and it recharged fine by push starting the car and it still holds charge as good as new
