Default Seafoam Question

Apparantly, where I live, the only type of seafoam they have is a kind of pour in type(so I'm told). Two of my friends used it, one on a MKIII supra and another on an srt-4, and they said they had to pour it in. Is this really the same seafoam and there are more ways to add it rather than the booster lines? And if it is an additive to pour in, would I pour it in at the carb, because my friends said the instructions said for them to pour it in the intake(I think thats what they said).

I want to do this to my car because it is 20+ years old, but I thought I'd see what you guys thought about this info because I know there are alot more knowledgeable people here than my friends and I are lol.

The type they are talking about is what you need. It's a liquid. I usualyl take a full can and divide it equally into 3 seperate plastic cups. I pour 1 cup into my crankcase, I pour 1 cup into my gas tank, and I take the alst cup and let a vacuum line SLOWLY "sip" it out of the cup until it is empty.

As soon as the final cup is empty, I shut the engine off and let it sit for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, fire her up and let it burn off. I also hit WOT a few times to make sure I'm realyl clearing the engine.

+1. The brake booster is the easiest one I have found to get to. Others like to use the PCV, but IMO that's too much of a pain in the *** to reach. Here's a pic of where to put it. I circled the check valve in red. Just remove the line and let the vacuum suck it in. It's a pretty strong vacuum so be careful not to put in too much at a time.

It also helps to ahve someone in the car giving it a little gas to keep it from stalling.

Just pour it right in the carb. Doesn't get any easier than that.
