strange clicking/thunking noise in right rear
any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!!
for a while now ive had a strang clicking noise inthe right rear on braking, i replaced the shoes and drums when i bought the car, then when this started happening i replaced the hardware in the drums( springs and that stuff), it didnt help so i brought it to a shop, they said the cable was broken, wich didnt make sense it was fine when i had the drum off. It seemed ok for a few hundred miles then started again, now that i have new lower control arms in it soundsworse because of the heim joints. the onlyidea someone suggested that made sense was the backing plate is loose, causeing it to move around when braking
i'm going to make a vid now or tomorrow afternoon

My car makes a clicking/clunking noise in the right rear as well. Its because I've been lauching on slicks with solid lca arms and its enlongated the control arm bolt hole in the torque box. Do it make noise when going over bumps at slow speeds too?

as for the sound... try adjusting the shoes a little bit more... sometimes the noise is from them shiftng inside the drum
just something to check out.. i had a real bad clunking that sounded like it came from the right rear
