i was thinking that maybe my clutch cable is stretched out a bit, just because of the way the pedal feels, and the way that 1st acts.
sometimes its a real challenge to get it into first at a stop.

also, i have the typical 5spd whine, when you barely accelerate you can hear the trans whining, as if you were reversing.
that is only in the higher gears, normally 3rd and 4th

is the fluid level correct?

and short throw shifters generally make the sound from the trans a little louder...

stock cable & adjuster(not for long), stock shifter(not for long either)

in the next couple months i'm gonna be doing a pro50 with steeda cable.

honestly i havn't even checked the fluid in it. i've been wanting to change it, just because i want to, but again my time is very limited lately. all of a sudden, all of my friends cars are broken and i'm helping them.

i was just out today doing rear struts for a friend's intrepid today. the car got sideswiped, and the rim took most of the hit. the strut actually bent inside the spindle, and the god-damned pinch bolt got tweaked. i had to disassemble the whole freakin suspension to take the whole spindle, hub, and strut out as one unit, and now i gotta take it to work and hit it with some air tools.
i even had to drop the tank to get a control arm bolt out. what a freakin pain.

i hate doing struts on the ground. really blows.

so, yah, i'll grab that trans from you, Adder, once i save up some cash. maybe a month or so..
also that rebuild manual on CD will be a nice little treat. thanks!

my cruise really set me back a bit, i'm so hard off for cash i cant even buy a 6pack.

yah, i know how to adjust that POS stock adjuster. it doesn't seem to do much. i can sit there and do it all day, it just keeps clicking and wont stop.
