i would think the 60's would give a better launch. running a lower pro. tire would make you spin more and a taller tire would GIVE more. like a wrinkle wall affect. Rite?

ya but the 50's are 26" high...................and the 60's are 27.1" high, so the 60's are taller

rite! thats what im saying!! get a taller tire if it will fit. You wont catch anyone running a small profile tire and getting good launch's of the line because they will just spine. The 60 will grab better

ORIGINAL: 90mustang5.0

so what size tire do u think would work with those rims, and not stick out?

i checked my dads 69 dart two seconds ago and he has 235/60/15 tires and he runs high 11's with it.....so obviously you dont need big wide back tires to hook at the track.
that has nothing to do with tire size, its all in suspension. my STOCK motor STOCK suspension car doesnt hook at the track on 26x10-15 ET Drags. its mostly in the suspension, not the tire.
