not as much as the 275's. I think we are talking a 20mm difference. Not a tone but there is a difference. I just posted a pic of my 255 tires on my stock pony rims in a similar thread should only be 1 or 2 down from this one. take a look

whats the backspacing on your rims? and how wide of rims? 7"?

see thats the thing. i dont know **** about backspacing. im just running a stock pony rim. Did you see the pics?
but from looking at the pics here. i think if you took 20mm off of these tires it wouldnt look so bad

Thats if im correct about the difference of 275's and 255's being 20mm's

ya the 275/50-15 is 10 wide tread and 11.3 wide overall

the 255/60-15 is 8.8 wide and 10.7 overall

backspacing has to do with how far your rim is sticking out, see if i get a rim with 5.5" backspacing i could fit 275/50-15 tires in their fine with no sticking out...but the centerline rims only come in 4.5" backspacing

the only 255's that come in 15" are 60 tall so thats 27" not 26" like the 50's sooo hopefully it fits under there

i see. I would for sure think about getting the 255. i think that will look good. it wont stick out.... Too much where it looks stupid. And again if you go to the other thread i posted the phone number to call to get the best price ive seen. sum guy put there ebay auction up too
