This won't be an anytime soon thing, I have to pay the car off and then the next thing I will buy is either a new motor or a turbo kit. I'm not worried about the cost really, I can always save.
Really, I'm just trying to get my car plans laid down before i just decide to buy a bunch of parts for the 302.

and I only have the 85 mph speedo so I don't really know how fast I'm going. I had the needle straight down the one day, but I don't have any idea how fast I was.

As for the kind of hp #'s youre talkin about, youre going to NEED to do A LOT of chassis bracing in order to keep that car from twisting up like a preztel. But personally Id go with the 460 idea.
Build it to run the 10.5 outlaw class, big block can only use nitrous, small blocks can only use 1 power adder. Last 2 cars I saw in this class were running mid to high 6's.
