Default What size Throttle Body to buy???

Im in the midst of getting a bbk throttle body. Ive got a bbk fenderwell cold air intake on the way. Just curious if anyone knows what size tb stangs come with stock and what size i should get aftermarket. I dont have much done to it. MSD ignition, bbk shorty headers, full exhaust(no cats) and adding the cai. Right now Im just doing bolt ons for performance. I was steering towards a 65mm, does that sound about right?

BBK throttle bodys are notorious for making a whirring noise. I suggest you get another brand unless you dont mind wierd sounding noises.

The bbk whistling can actually be fixed by filing the edges off of the holes in the TB. Don't bother with your TB for now

I agree, I'd wait to do the TB for when you have more mods. However if you want to do it now and are just planning simple bolt ons I'd go with a 65mm, if you're going to be doing heads and cam in the near future I'd go with a 70mm.

I got a 70mm with the Edelbrock Performer RPM 2. but like everybody else said you are probably fine with what you got now. Plus just adding a throttle body you most likely not feel the difference.

not trying to steel but..........

i have a holley 75mm tb thats still new in a box and i was wondering if that would be too big for a 347 im building up?

the 347 will have tf track heat intake and cnc ported th heads, pretty agressive cam (not sure on what to get), 100-125 dry shot, and a bunch of other stuff
