my last 5.0 turned over 200k.. ran great but burned some oil.. i actually had it get really low a couple of times because i forgot to check it and she still never let me down

178K mild cam full exhaust no oil leaks no oil burning, runs like a top. ran it 600 miles in less then 18 hours no problem a couple weeks back. still see the track every couple weeks and gets driven hard regularly

just turned past 173,000 stock block heads, cam, uses about a quart a month maybe a little more

91 had 124k on it when the crank walked, and snaped the nose of the crank in two.. (The engine was fully built however.)

My 94 has 198k on it, runs very strong, doesn't burn oil, mostly highway miles, new top end going on this year sometime. Couldn't ask for more.
