Default Emissions questions

How much of the plumbing from the air/smog pump back do you need to pass the sniffer?

I was wondering if I could connect a hose from the air/smog pump directly to the mid pipe without all the actuators and valves that Ford used originally.

Any reason why this would not work???

I checked and found out that many of the components are not available.

Or should I just go to Crazy Rays (junk yard) and cobble together the original plumbing setup.

I see I am not the only one having emission issues.
Anyone with any experience reinstalling the smog equipment. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

So just put the cats on with the O2s and see what happens...? Right now I am getting code 41 and 91 (Missing O2s).

Partsare on the way
I missed the Fed Ex guy and he won't be back til Tuesday.[:@]

By the way Adder...your little 'starter saver' trick works as stated.
One of these days I am going to post pictures of this project...maybe after paint.

Thanks

I thought if you ran the cats without the smog pump the cats would be ruined? I know I have read that on some previous threads.
