I would go w/ an h over an x pipe. The x is gonna be much more raspy than the h will. Unless you like that.
I'm probably going to be swapping over to a H pipe myself. I'll see what I think about the sound after the h/c/i... and i'll go from there....

Yeah I have had H-pipes on the past 3 5.0's and a buddy of mine has the X on his, and I really like the raspy sound it gives. That's why I am choosing the X this time around. If I don't like it, I can always change it. Mid-pipes are cheap.

+1 on the loudmouth I's I have them with acatted x-pipe and just Summit shorty headers and everytime I start my car I want to "pinch one off" it sounds soooo good

What is the quality like on those Summit shorty headers?? I have seen them and they are only like $99 bux or something. How did they fit?

Also, where did those of you that have the SLP exhaust purchase it? Who has the best price? Cheapest I have found so far is 522.95 @ Summit.
