Default car wash ....wont start (codes 67,95,96)

i got some cheap gas today ...some grand opening fro 3.04 a gallon.....and got a free car wash .........after i filled up and washed my car i stopped to dry it and put the top down......then it wont start after that ...it turns over but no start ...the dist . is covered with a rubber boot and it did nt look wet .......im gonna do a koeo test tomm but i reset the computer so i dunno if it will work..........any ideas?

sue the gas station[8D] it was water inside the pumps and they washed your car with gasoline

nah ummm check for spark?

I would still open the dizzy cap and make sure there is absolutely no water in it, been there, done that. Hopefully the gas was good and not too watered down. Make sure none of your wires came loose, coil wire or anything like that.

i did check the cap no water but im goningto spray with wd-40 tomm. ......checked wries too....i used some stp gas treatment ...think i should ues some dry gas?

Yes I would try some dry gas, also take the coil wire off of the dizzy and hold it near the motor and see if you have spark. Can you here the fuel pump come on when the key is in the on position?

let it sit overnight and try it in the morning. good chance its the TFI module.

Sounds like ignition wires to me. More then likely they are arching and water is just making it worse. If you can get it to run try spraying the wires with water. If they are arching the car will run a lot worse and you might even see the arching.

take out the #1 plug wire, stick a screwdriver in there, hold the handle (as to not get shocked) and put the metal part near, but not on another, unseen (probably be scarred by spark) peice of metal and have someone crank it, that will tell you if you have a spark
