should an electric fan sit flush on the radiator or have a gap between the radiator and the fan. because the one that i got came with these springs and i cant figure out whether they are to keep the fan slightly away form the radiator, by sitting between the fan and the radiator or to go on the outside???anyone have the same fan? its a hayden i think.thanks
