Default Tranny question

Ok im about to buy a 93 5.0 that runs a high 9 low 10 with nitrous for $4300. But the problem is he doesent have a tranny in it, but hes giving a brand new stock tranny with it for temporary use until i get a new one. But my question is would it be better to keep that stock tranny and get it rebuilt stronger somewhere or wouldI be better off buying a brand new performance tranny and where?

sure is, no arguement there at all, but i think in this instance an auto out weighs a stick... imo, if my car were a 9 sec ride, id try to stay stick, but thats just me. i would sugest auto tho.
