this is true, i guess you cant expect anything too great with 4.10's, but I guess I cant complain about the mileage I get with 4.10's compared to some of you guys.

lol no i got 10-12 when it wasnt leaking, And my fuel leak only leaks when the gas is up to where the gas goes into the filler tube.

not tryin to jack your thread or nothin, but thought i would ask. i've been told that if all u do is city driving, that 4.10s can actually increase your gas mileage? i've been told by others that your mileage hardly suffers in the city and its the highway that u suffer. since all i do is city driving this would be good news for me

edit: i know this is the 5.0 section, but i'm sure the same concept applies to a 4.6 right?

thats fine i dont konw. The person i bought the car from said the gears were stock. I dont konw in a diff thread everyone thought i had 4:10s with my rpms and things. So thats waht i put i have. I am gonna eventually go jack it up and look i am just lazy

if u drive sensibly even with 4.10s you should get better, OB has 4.10s and all the bolts on and he does better than that, but he has a perfect tune on his too......

never thought about it, but did you fix that fuel leak? it might not be the whole reason, but im sure it could help out a little

4.10's wouldnt hurt mileage in city driving, it may increase your mpg if you can keep your foot out of it!
