i need to replace my power steering pump. got a 91 Gt, i remeber somone tellin me that another cars power steering pump would work i jus dont remeber what one i think it was the thunderbird or somthin like that

You're post makes absolutely no sense at all.....why not just replace the ps pump with one made for your car??? there is no hp gains for using a different pump.....[&:]

i know but the junkyards that i have been too all the mustangs have been striped and theres nothing left so i was wanderin if another pump could switch over

junkyard pump is going to be just as bad. get a new one, they're cheap enough.

yeah i just did one on my buddys car their cheap and even if you do find in one in a junkyard if probably wont have much life left anyways

just call a local parts store i would think anyone would have them or be able to get them within the day
